imagesHere’s the situation: You’re having an last-minute get together or just trying to pull together a little something special for that impromptu Friday deskside happy hour (c’mon, I know this is a thing) and you don’t want to resort to just opening a bottle of wine, but you also have no idea how to whip up a quick cocktail or you’re dealing with a sub-par bartender who gives you a blank stare when you order your fave French 75. You could check with TheLUSHiouslife, but in a pinch, don’t worry, Google has got you.

Now you can hit the Google app and ask “OK Google, how do I make a Vesper or a Pisco Sour or any number of cocktails, one of those handy Google information cards pops up with step-by-step instructions including ingredients and the correct glassware.

Google won't let you down
Google won’t let you down

And since you’re already in the app, if you discover you’re out of a key ingredient, you can ask Google to point you towards the nearest liquor store to restock, or the nearest bar where you can get someone else to mix your drink up for you. Genius, right? The recipes themselves are pulled from a number of sources and cross-checked for consensus and consistency.

Your days of looking like a buster behind the bar are over.
