April 15. You knew this day was coming. I did warn you. I even suggested washing down that reality with a soothing Irish whiskey. But the day is here and perhaps you need a few more drink options to get through it.

For anyone who hit Calculate on their Quicken, took a look and was moved to exclaim “Oh hell nah!” I’m pouring these for you.

 Q Gin and Tax Thyme

Gin and tax time
Nothing soothes the nerves like a good G&T

4 oz Q Tonic

2 oz gin

4 sprigs of thyme

1 lime wedge for garnish

Add gin and 3 sprigs of thyme to a cocktail shaker. Gently muddle, then add ice and shake. Strain into an ice-filled highball glass, top with tonic. To garnish,   drop in the last sprig of time and wedge of lime.
