You and your girls are classy social tipplers. Bottomless boozy brunches? Been there, drank that. Pina Colada Pictionary? Done. Paint & Sip, Wine and Design? Crushed.
If your squad is looking for a new way to chill, sip, and stunt for the ‘Gram, we’ve got a suggestion for you.
Built on the “teach a man to fish” premise, Liquor Labs is an interactive event space in SoHo that not only offers hands-on instruction on crafting cocktails using real utensils and top shelf booze but also reveals the detailed history behind the drinks.
Each guest sits at a “scientific” bench outfitted with a complete set of bar tools and ingredients (syrups, bitters, freshly squeezed juices) to make four cocktails.
The class is led by a mixologist, expert in the category of cocktail on the evening’s menu. Students get to perfect their shakes, pours and garnishes in between snacking on tasty nibbles. They wisely leave plenty of time in between recipe instruction for mingling. They even have a mini photo shoot setup so you can take the perfect snap of your creation.
It’s pretty much everything we could ask for in a class.

Upcoming classes include Bourbon & BBQ, World of Whiskey and, a Singles Awareness Day event on, you guessed it, February 14th. Prices range between $55 to $70. For more info, head to liquorlaboratory.com
This is a “refreshing” change from the norm. Love the frozen red pepper glass.
